Manage photos in the GitHub repository. The website rebuilds and deploys automatically — no uploads on this site.

GitHub content workflow

Photos are managed only in the festivals-rvp repository. There is no website upload form and no database.

  1. Open the GitHub repo (web, mobile, Desktop, VS Code, Cursor, or git).
  2. Go to content/<YEAR>/<album>/
  3. Upload photos into the correct album folder.
  4. Commit and push to main.
  5. Wait for GitHub Actions → Cloudflare Pages deploy.
  6. Visit the live site — galleries update automatically.

Album folders

  • content/YYYY/sankranthi/
  • content/YYYY/vinayaka-chavithi/
  • content/YYYY/rvp-birthdays/
  • content/YYYY/fun-trips/

Years are detected automatically. Hidden files like .DS_Store are ignored. Optional metadata.json can override title/story — media lists are generated on build.
